Tapping into the free music download market in the Philippines
The Philippines is a popular destination for free music downloads in the Asia-Pacific region, according to data from the Recording Industry Association of America.
According to data compiled by Songkick, the Philippines is home to nearly 6 million free music tracks uploaded to the internet in March, up from 4.7 million in March 2015.
The country’s free music consumption is up 24% from March 2015, according the RIAA data.
However, that growth was mostly due to more free music being uploaded to social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
According the RiaA, the country’s population grew by 5.3 million people in the past year.
That’s a lot, but the Riamo is only one country.
The Philippines also boasts one of the highest populations of people in Asia.
According to the World Health Organization, about 3.5 million people, or 1.6% of the population, live in the country.
In comparison, the U.S. has a population of 2.2 million people.
According with the Riumpo Music Association, more than 70% of Filipinos have never downloaded a song.
The RIAa data also showed that in the last five years, the share of people downloading songs from music services such as Spotify increased by about 18%.
The country also has some of the most downloaded mobile apps in the world, with more than 2.5 billion downloads of music services including Spotify.
