The first song of a new album, Beetlejuice, is on track to sell a million copies in the UK
Posted March 26, 2020 18:17:36A new track from new record-selling indie rock band Beetlejuices is set to be recorded this weekend in the United Kingdom and it has already sold more than a million records.
The band’s latest album, Beetjuice: A Musical Adventure, has already been certified as a hit in the U.K. by the Radio Times.
The band, which is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, recorded its first single in April 2018 and has since released four studio albums, three of which have been certified hits.
The latest album contains the hit “I’m Not A Monster” and “The Greatest Thing That Ever Happened To You.”
“We wanted to release this album on the weekend,” frontman Joe Dyer said.
“We didn’t want to release it a day earlier.
We’ve always been a bit of a perfectionist and always had the best tracklist, and we thought we’d try to have a really good release date.”
We had a really big idea and we wanted to try and have a release date that would coincide with the weekend, and that was actually the day we recorded our last record.
“The song “The Great American Nightmare” was recorded in New York City in May of 2018 and is about a “horrible American nightmare” that has destroyed a family’s home.
The song has sold over 1 million copies.
The album’s title track is about an American family in a difficult situation when a tornado hits their home.”
I think everyone can’t wait.”
